Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Engineer to ensure our products meet established quality standards and customer expectations. The Quality Engineer will develop quality control processes, identify defects, analyze production data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Monitor manufacturing or production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of products and materials.
- Investigate product defects, customer complaints, and quality issues using root cause analysis tools.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality problems.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports on performance metrics.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, GMP, depending on the industry).
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other quality methodologies.
- Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS).
- Experience with quality tools such as:
- Six Sigma
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram)
- Control Plans
- APQP and PPAP (for automotive industries)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with ERP or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.

Pay: ₹8,451.40 - ₹32,046.28 per month
