Profile Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Apparel & Footwear Designer with at least 1 year of experience in designing clothing and footwear products. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of fashion trends, color combinations, materials, and product development. The candidate will be responsible for creating innovative designs for apparel and footwear collections while coordinating with sourcing, sampling, and production teams.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Design & Product Development
- Create innovative and trend-driven designs for apparel and footwear collections.
- Develop design concepts, sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications.
- Research market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products.
- Select appropriate fabrics, materials, colors, prints, embellishments, and trims.
- Design seasonal collections aligned with brand identity and market demand.
- Develop samples and prototypes in coordination with vendors and production teams.
2.Footwear Design
- Design footwear products including ethnic footwear, juttis, casual footwear, and fashion footwear.
- Create detailed design specifications and artwork for production.
- Work closely with artisans, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure design accuracy.
3. Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with sourcing and vendor teams for material selection and sample development.
- Monitor product quality and ensure designs are executed as per specifications.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams for product launches and campaigns.
- Maintain design documentation and product development records.
Knowledge Skills
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in apparel, footwear, or fashion product design.
- Strong understanding of apparel and footwear design principles.
- Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, trims, and footwear materials.
- Creative thinking with excellent color and trend forecasting abilities.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
