Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will assess and provide therapeutic intervention to students with developmental delays, autism, sensory processing difficulties, and learning challenges. The OT will work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and parents to improve students’ functional independence and school participation.
Key Responsibilities1 Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments
- Identify sensory, motor, and functional challenges
- Prepare detailed assessment reports
- Contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
2 Therapy Intervention
- Plan and conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Implement sensory integration therapy
- Develop fine motor skills and handwriting programs
- Support gross motor coordination
- Train students in Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
3 Sensory Integration & Regulation
- Design sensory diets
- Create sensory-friendly classroom strategies
- Support emotional regulation skills
4 Collaboration
- Work closely with Special Educators, SLPs, and Psychologists
- Provide classroom strategies for teachers
- Conduct parent counselling & home program guidance
5 Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain therapy records
- Track student progress
- Submit monthly progress reports
- Participate in review meetings
6 School Participation Support
- Recommend assistive tools
- Support inclusive classroom adaptation
- Assist during school events if required
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT)
- Valid registration with relevant council (if applicable)
- Experience in Autism / Special Education preferred
- Knowledge of sensory integration techniques

Pay: ₹10,091.31 - ₹45,468.99 per month
