Role Overview
The Head of Social & Content will own our organic social presence end-to-end. We’re not looking for a strategist — we want an operator who can take a brief, create high-performing content, and drive real growth. From idea to execution to reach, you’ll build a culturally relevant brand presence alongside the founders and team.
Key Responsibilities
Translate briefs into high-quality, high-performing content — independently or through a team.
Drive consistent growth in followers, engagement, reach, and community interaction through organic content.
Implement and evolve the brand’s voice, tone, and storytelling approach across all touchpoints.
Collaborate with influencers, creators, and cultural partners to amplify brand storytelling.
Align social narratives with product launches and brand campaigns.
Track content performance, platform trends, and audience insights to continuously optimize output.
Build, mentor, and manage internal content and social media teams as the brand scales.
Own the entire social media presence — from ideation to posting to driving measurable reach.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Ideally 8+ years of experience in social media, content, or digital brand building (however, quality of work and impact matter more than years alone).
Demonstrated ability to translate a brand vision into impactful content and thoughtful experimentation.
Open to candidates who have built and grown their own social media channels/pages organically.
Proven experience in creating and scaling organic content for brands, influencers, or large digital platforms.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms, content trends, and platform-specific best practices.
Experience building brands with high organic engagement and cultural relevance.
Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on with content creation and execution.
Strong creative judgment supported by data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
