Athulya Senior Care is looking for dedicated and responsible kitchen support staff to assist in daily food service operations. The candidate will be responsible for packing food, distributing meals to residents’ rooms, maintaining cleanliness of utensils and kitchen areas, and supporting smooth kitchen operations while ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack meals accurately according to instructions and dietary requirements.
- Distribute food trays to residents’ rooms in a timely and respectful manner.
- Collect used trays and utensils after meal service.
- Wash vessels, utensils, and kitchen equipment properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist kitchen supervisors and cooks during meal preparation and service.
- Follow food safety and infection control guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of kitchen items.
- Support other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Basic reading and communication skills.
- Prior experience in kitchen work or food service is preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle physical tasks.
- Good teamwork and discipline.
- Understanding of cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Respectful and patient attitude toward senior citizens.
