Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Control Officer to manage customer outstanding payments, monitor credit limits, and ensure timely collections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining healthy cash flow, reducing overdue receivables, and coordinating with internal teams and clients to resolve payment-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and aging reports.
- Follow up with customers for timely payment collection via calls, emails, and meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of receivables and collection activities.
- Verify invoices, payment receipts, and customer account statements.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing and payment disputes.
- Review customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on collections and outstanding dues.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Escalate overdue accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Maintain compliance with company credit policies and financial procedures.
- Assist in implementing strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce bad debts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
