Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Software Test Engineer Fresher to support the testing of web and software applications. The candidate will work with the development team to identify issues, validate application functionality, and help ensure quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand application requirements and prepare basic test cases.
- Perform manual testing for web and software applications.
- Identify, report, and track bugs clearly.
- Test application features, user flows, and screen responsiveness.
- Perform smoke, functional, regression, and basic API testing.
- Validate data using basic SQL queries where required.
- Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes.
- Participate in team meetings and support release testing activities.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
- Knowledge of manual testing and bug reporting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Postman is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of web applications, browsers, and APIs.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with internship/project experience in software testing are welcome to apply.
