Qualification
Retired Revenue Officer with a designation not below the rank of Tehsildar / SDM, with extensive experience in revenue administration, land records, property rights, and land-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and oversee verification of land ownership, title records, and property rights of PMAY beneficiaries.
- Resolve land-related disputes and ensure proper documentation for housing construction and approvals.
- Support ULBs in updating revenue records, GIS mapping, and property tax linkages for eligible beneficiaries.
- Conduct due diligence on land availability, encumbrance-free status, and land suitability for BLC projects.
- Assist in beneficiary validation, ensuring prevention of duplicate or ineligible claims.
- Coordinate with ULBs, revenue authorities, and other stakeholders for timely resolution of land and beneficiary-related issues.
- Provide guidance on revenue procedures, land documentation, and statutory requirements relevant to PMAY 2.0 implementation.
Preferred Experience
- Retired Tehsildar / SDM or above with substantial experience in Revenue Administration.
- Experience in land records, property verification, land disputes, beneficiary validation, and government housing schemes.
- Experience working with ULBs / Municipal Corporations / State Government departments is preferred.
- Prior experience in PMAY, urban development, GIS-based land records, or property tax systems will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Laws, Land Records, Property Rights, and Land Administration.
- Excellent documentation, verification, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with government departments and ULB stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of land due diligence, encumbrance verification, and beneficiary eligibility.
