Job Title: Quality Controller (QC) – Textile/Fabric
Location: Karur, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / Any Degree (Textile preferred)
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Working Days: Monday – Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming fabric, work-in-progress, and finished goods for quality and defects.
- Monitor quality standards at different stages of production.
- Conduct fabric inspection according to company and buyer quality standards.
- Perform quality checks using AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards.
- Identify, record, and report quality defects and deviations.
- Prepare and maintain daily inspection and quality reports.
- Coordinate with the production team to identify the root cause of defects and ensure corrective action.
- Ensure products meet required buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct final inspections before goods are dispatched.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspection results and quality issues.
- Follow company quality procedures and support continuous improvement in production quality.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of fabric inspection and quality control processes.
- Working knowledge of AQL standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production teams.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in textile/fabric manufacturing or garment production will be preferred.
