Role Overview
The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards in warehouse operations. This role involves monitoring workplace practices, conducting safety audits, training staff, and implementing preventive measures to minimize risks and accidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections of warehouse facilities, equipment, and processes.
- Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Organize safety training programs and awareness sessions for warehouse staff.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain records of safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency drills.
- Coordinate with management to implement fire safety, first aid, and emergency response plans.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Competencies
- Certification in occupational health and safety (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or industrial safety.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
