JOB OVERVIEW Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of facilityJOB DESCRIPTION:To ensure Hospital environment is clean and safe.Preparation of daily roster / deployment sheet and getting it approved by unit operations manager.Ensure that sufficient manpower is provided in each shift and that staff are deployed based on occupancy.To check the grooming of staff on a daily basis. Work as a team with floor managers to understand patient requirements and arrange for the same. Monitor inventory required for smooth functioning of housekeeping department. To ensure proper cleaning of all washrooms as per check list provided. To keep count of linen sent to Laundry service and verfify count after receiving. to coordinate with Maintenance department for any plumbing issues, civil work issues. To follow biomedical waste management color coding rules in disposal of waste. Ensure that patient room cleaning is done on a daily basis as per time schedule. To indent for the replacement of the old and worn out linen. Organizing housekeeping staff training sessions every week. Should be aware of how to clean hazardous material spillages. Perform duties as assigned by the HOD. Key Result Areas / Roles & Responsibilities Primary : Cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, deployment of staff, training of staff. Secondary : MIS reports, purchase order indenting, leave / roster allotment. Key Performance Indicators MIS reports, staff deployement,t raining, purchase indents. Skills/Competencies Behavioural Skills: Team player, leadership skills, time management. Technical Competencies: Ability to upload rosters in software, excel knowledge for MIS reports. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Graduate with understanding of medical terminology Technical Qualifications - Ability to conduct training sessions, roster & leave management, Clear communication.
