We are building scalable digital lending infrastructure and are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our technology team and contribute to building reliable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Developer with 3+ years of professional experience, with mandatory experience in the FinTech industry. Experience in digital lending, NBFCs, loan management systems, or financial products will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python and Django, along with a solid understanding of SQL and DBMS. You will work closely with product, technology, and business teams to develop and maintain backend systems that support Bridge Capital's lending operations.
Key Responsibilities
-Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django.
-Develop robust APIs and backend services to support digital lending products and business processes.
-Work with SQL databases to design, optimize, and manage data structures and queries.
-Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
-Design and implement efficient database schemas and backend architectures. --
-Integrate internal and third-party APIs and services.
-Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
-Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with Product, Operations, Risk, Credit, and other teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
-Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of backend systems.
-Contribute to the development and enhancement of technology solutions supporting digital lending workflows.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in Backend Development.
-Mandatory: Prior experience working in a FinTech company.
-Strong hands-on experience with Python. Strong experience with Django / Django REST Framework.
-Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
-Good knowledge of DBMS concepts, database design, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
-Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
-Strong understanding of backend architecture and software development practices.
-Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Good to Have / Plus One
-Experience in Digital Lending / Lending / NBFC / Loan Management Systems.
-Experience working with LOS (Loan Origination System) or LMS (Loan Management System).
-Understanding of lending journeys, loan lifecycle, repayment, collections, or credit workflows.
-Experience integrating financial/third-party APIs.
-Exposure to cloud platforms, microservices, or asynchronous processing.
-Experience working with high-volume transactional systems.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
