MRDS team is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to spearhead the manual and test automation engineering activities for software/firmware applications for embedded device like power quality meters. Senior Test Engineer will define detailed test cases, develop test scripts and identify functional and non functional test cases to verify functionality for Software applications in the Meters and Relays Group. Strong work experience in test automation and is necessary for the success of this role. Develops detailed test cases by understanding requirements and specifications for power quality metering products
Defines proper test data sets, documents it and validate functional, performance, and load/stress tests
Identifies and develops automated tests by employing test framework and test methodologies
Contributes actively to test execution cycles for functional, regression, and system tests
Report test results and identify test failures in the defect tracking system.
Collaborate closely with development team and stakeholders for root cause analysis of defects
Strong verbal, documentation and interpersonal communication skills required.
Generate ideas and innovative solutions which will provide competitive edge to business products.
