Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Training Officer with 3–4 years of experience, preferably in the Fasteners / Automotive Components / Engineering manufacturing industry, to plan, coordinate and monitor employee training programs and ensure effective skill development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify training needs for employees in Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, Sales and other departments.
- Prepare and maintain the annual training calendar based on departmental requirements.
- Coordinate induction and onboarding training for new employees.
- Develop training programs for technical skills, process knowledge, quality, safety and soft skills.
- Coordinate with department heads and subject-matter experts to conduct on-the-job training (OJT).
- Maintain training records, attendance, skill matrices, evaluation sheets and competency records.
- Conduct training related to fastener manufacturing processes, including Cold Forging, Threading, Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment, Inspection and Packing, as applicable.
- Ensure employees understand SOPs, Work Instructions, Quality Standards and Process Parameters.
- Coordinate safety and statutory training such as PPE, fire safety, emergency response and workplace safety.
- Conduct refresher training based on quality issues, customer complaints, process changes and audit findings.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through tests, feedback, observation and skill assessments.
- Maintain and update department-wise skill matrices and competency levels.
- Coordinate with external trainers and training agencies when required.
- Support ISO / IATF audits by maintaining required training and competency documentation.
- Prepare monthly reports on training hours, employee coverage, pending training and effectiveness.
- Support management in developing multi-skilled employees and internal talent.
Required Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in HR, Training & Development, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
- 3–4 years of experience in Training & Development / HR / Manufacturing Training.
- Fasteners / Automotive Components / Engineering industry experience preferred.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
- Experience in OJT, skill matrix, competency assessment and training documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 training and competency requirements is an advantage.
- Good communication, presentation and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and employee-engagement skills.

Ideal Candidate
A people-oriented and organized Training Officer with 3–4 years of manufacturing experience who can effectively coordinate shop-floor technical training, OJT, induction, safety and quality training, while maintaining accurate training records and competency matrices for a fasteners manufacturing organization.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
