SAP Planning Solution Architect (Planning Architect)
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Planning Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end design of integrated SAP planning solutions across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP IBP Demand Planning, SAP IBP Supply & Response (Order-Based Planning), SAP S/4HANA PP/DS, and SAP Advanced ATP (aATP), with a proven track record of architecting scalable planning solutions for global organizations.
This role will define solution architecture, business processes, integration strategy, and best practices while working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end planning transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the solution architecture and design for SAP planning solutions across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Order-Based Planning, Production Planning, and Available-to-Promise.
- Design end-to-end integrated planning processes leveraging SAP IBP, PP/DS, and aATP.
- Define integration architecture between SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, and related applications.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice SAP solutions.
- Provide architecture governance, design reviews, and technical leadership throughout project delivery.
- Lead solution workshops and engage with business and executive stakeholders.
- Mentor project teams and support pre-sales, estimations, and solution proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 10+ years of SAP Supply Chain Planning implementation experience.
- 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant role.
- Strong experience delivering global SAP planning transformation projects.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Hands-on implementation experience in:
- SAP IBP Demand Planning
- SAP IBP Supply & Response (Order-Based Planning)
- SAP S/4HANA PP/DS
- SAP Advanced ATP (aATP)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, production planning, order fulfillment, and inventory optimization.
- Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA using standard SAP integration technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and solution design skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
