Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Assist with payroll processing (if required)
- Respond to vendor and internal finance-related queries
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fresher, 1 or 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication skills
