We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Graduate Trainee Engineer (GTE) to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will undergo rigorous hands-on training across various phases of Electric Vehicle (EV) charger production, including assembly, testing, quality control, and shop-floor management. This position is ideal for a fresh engineering graduate looking to build a robust career in the rapidly growing EV infrastructure industry.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Production & Assembly Operations
- Assist in the end-to-end assembly of AC and DC fast EV chargers according to engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor daily production targets and coordinate with shop-floor technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
- Learn to operate specialized manufacturing tools, wiring equipment, and torque machinery safely.
2. Quality Assurance & Testing
- Conduct routine testing of sub-assemblies, power modules, and final EV charger units using test benches, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Identify, log, and troubleshoot technical defects, wiring errors, or component failures during the production cycle.
- Ensure all manufactured units strictly comply with internal quality benchmarks and regulatory standards.
3. Process Improvement & Safety
- Assist the engineering team in updating SOPs, manufacturing checklists, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Participate in 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to minimize waste and optimize cycle time.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain meticulous records of production logs, test results, component checklists, and batch documentation.
- Prepare and present weekly progress reports to the Production Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace by strictly adhering to corporate health and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication (EC), or Mechatronics. (Fresh graduates eligible).
Technical Skills:
- Fundamental understanding of power electronics, electrical circuits, switchgears, and control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Basic familiarity with testing instruments (e.g., Digital Multimeters, Insulation Testers).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Purchase).
