Experience Required: Minimum 5 years (mandatory) in corporate accounting with direct exposure to bank operations, compliance, and audits.
Role & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing the company’s end-to-end finance, compliance, and daily accounting operations, with a strong focus on bank overdraft (OD) management, stock audits, and statutory documentation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Banking & OD Management – Handle bank overdraft renewal processes, prepare compliance documentation for banks, maintain liaison with relationship managers, and ensure timely submission of ROC, LEI, and other statutory banking requirements.
- Audit & Compliance – Coordinate and prepare for internal, statutory, and stock audits; provide accurate documentation; liaise with statutory auditors for consolidated reports.
- Financial Reporting – Prepare and finalize monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Tax & Regulatory Filings – Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF/ESI returns; maintain compliance as per SOPs.
- Vendor & Inventory Accounting – Oversee accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
- PO & Invoice Cycle – Manage purchase order processing and tax invoice generation.
- Cross-functional Coordination – Work closely with bank and auditor to ensure smooth financial operations.
Day-to-Day Accounting Activities:
- Manage petty cash transactions, maintain records, and reconcile balances.
- Process payroll, including salary disbursement, statutory deductions, and payslip generation.
- Record and track all daily accounting entries in Tally.
- Monitor and update expense sheets, vendor payments, and reimbursements.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow updates.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proven track record in managing bank OD renewals, stock audits, and compliance documentation.
- Strong understanding of corporate banking procedures and regulatory requirements (ROC, LEI, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Strong command over Tally and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams.
Education:
- B.Com / M.Com in any specialization, or MBA / PGDM in Finance.
