About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, audits, and Busy Accounting Software, along with a strong understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions using Busy Accounting Software.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations regularly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support Income Tax, TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate and assist during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B. Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of Busy Accounting Software.
- Understanding of Income Tax, TDS, GST, and basic financial regulations.
- Exposure to audit processes and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling accounting operations independently.
- Familiarity with tax filings and compliance procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
