Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join Vidshot Media Production. The ideal candidate should have experience in editing engaging videos for social media, YouTube, podcasts, advertisements, and promotional content. The candidate should be able to transform raw footage into compelling visual stories while maintaining brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Cut, trim, and arrange footage to create engaging content.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
- Color correction and color grading to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Optimize videos according to platform-specific requirements.
- Manage and organize video assets and project files.
Required Skills
Must Have
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong knowledge of video editing techniques, storytelling, pacing, and transitions.
- Experience with color correction and audio editing.
- Ability to create subtitles and captions.
- Understanding of social media video formats and trends.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animations.
Good to Have
- Experience editing podcasts and long-form content.
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of camera angles, framing, and cinematography.
- Experience with AI-based video editing tools.
