1. Assess patients with neurological conditions (stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord
injury)
2. Perform detailed evaluations of:
o Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
o Upper limb function and motor skills
3. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
4. Conduct ADL retraining (feeding, grooming, dressing, toileting)
5. Provide upper limb rehabilitation and hand therapy
6. Provide early mobilization and bedside therapy in ICU and wards
7. Recommend, fabricate, and train patients in use of:
o Splints and orthoses
o Adaptive aids and assistive devices
8. Suggest home modifications for safe discharge planning
9. Assess home environment and caregiver support
10. Provide home exercise programs and caregiver training
11. Maintain accurate and timely patient records
12. Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
13. Participate in continuing education programs
14. Contribute to departmental audits and research activities
