Identify and finalize vendors/subcontractors for various BOP works (civil, electrical, transmission lines, substations, logistics, etc.).
Conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
Finalize work orders and agreements as per project scope and timelines.
Prepare and monitor detailed execution schedules for BOP activities.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Execution, and Site teams.
Ensure alignment of vendor execution plan with overall project timelines.
Track daily/weekly progress of civil and electrical works at site (foundation, roads, cable laying, switchyards, etc.).
Monitor manpower and machinery deployment by vendors.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards on-site.
Evaluate and document vendor performance against KPIs – timeliness, quality, cost control, and safety.
Manage escalations and delays with corrective action plans.
Issue notices and penalties for non-compliance, if applicable.
Review and verify contractor/vendor bills based on work progress and site measurement.
Coordinate with the finance and commercial teams for timely processing of payments.
Maintain documentation for work orders, insurance, statutory compliance, and bills.
Identify execution risks such as delays, resource shortages, or local issues (e.g., ROW, permissions).
Proactively resolve bottlenecks in coordination with client, EPC, and vendors.
Ensure timely closure of site-related issues.
Participate in client meetings and present status updates.
Coordinate approvals, clearances, and inspections with statutory authorities (DISCOM, CEIG, etc.).
Maintain alignment with internal project controls, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical).
10–15 years of experience in wind/renewable energy projects, with at least 7–10 years in BOP/vendor coordination.
Strong project management, negotiation, and vendor handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, Excel, and ERP tools.
