Title: Office Assistant – Nuclear Medicine
Location: Thane
- Take care of patients' comfort during the procedure.
- Position patients on the scanner.
- Coordinate and assist technicians, nursing staff, front office, and medical transcriptionists.
- Shift portable equipment and instruments within the department.
- Assist disabled patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Transfer patients from one department to another.
- Assist patients during procedures.
- Help patients change into hospital garments.
- Provide patients with water/oral contrast.
- Attend patient calls in the post-injection waiting area and provide necessary assistance.
- Collect materials from stores and pharmacy.
- Arrange and organize departmental stock.
- Coordinate departmental requirements.
- Clean all medical equipment.
- Take photocopies, scans, and laminations of required documents.
- Transfer documents and papers within the department and hospital.
- Assist in collecting and dispatching reports, patient files, CDs, and images.
- Make beds.
- Complete documentation as required.
- Dispatch couriers.
- Complete filing work.
- Monitor departmental cleanliness.
- Dispose of old newspapers and magazines.
- Basic knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Understanding of patient comfort and safety management.
- Be alert towards patients, relatives, and anyone entering the department.
- Ensure patient comfort at all times.
