In this role, we are looking for a Software Engineer – AI Applications & Copilot Platforms to join our Industrial Automation Digital Organization. You will contribute to the design, development, and support of enterprise AI applications, intelligent Copilot solutions, and cloud-native software platforms that enable digital transformation for industrial customers.
Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will develop scalable applications using Python, .NET/C#, Angular, Microsoft Azure, and modern AI technologies while partnering with Product Management, Solution Architects, AI/ML Engineers, DevOps, and Quality Engineering teams to deliver high-quality enterprise software.
This role is contributing to the Process Automation – Digital Industry Analytics / Research & Development organization in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade AI applications, Copilot solutions, and cloud-native software using Python, .NET/C#, Angular, REST APIs, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality software delivery.

Build and integrate AI capabilities such as LLM-based applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), conversational AI, and enterprise API integrations, while contributing to application architecture and technical design.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, AI/ML Engineers, DevOps, and Quality Engineering teams within Agile/Scrum environments to deliver features, resolve technical challenges, and support continuous integration and deployment.

Ensure engineering excellence by following coding standards, implementing automated testing, optimizing application performance, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting production stability through continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

2–5 years of experience in enterprise software development using Python, .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, REST APIs, and SQL.

Experience developing cloud-native applications, microservices, and web applications with exposure to Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Azure OpenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or enterprise Copilot solutions is preferred.

Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Git-based version control and collaborative software development practices.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning emerging AI, cloud, and intelligent automation technologies.
