Job Summary:
The Poker Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the poker room, ensuring exceptional customer service, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and revenue growth while maintaining a fair and enjoyable gaming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations
- Manage day-to-day poker room operations.
- Ensure all games are conducted fairly and professionally.
- Monitor game quality, table utilization, and player satisfaction.
- Prepare daily operational reports.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise poker dealers and floor staff.
- Prepare dealer schedules and shift rosters.
- Conduct performance evaluations.
- Handle disciplinary matters and coaching.
Customer Experience
- Resolve player disputes professionally.
- Build relationships with regular and VIP players.
- Ensure premium customer service standards.
- Manage player waiting lists and seating.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure compliance with club policies and gaming regulations.
- Prevent cheating, collusion, and fraudulent activities.
- Coordinate with surveillance and security teams.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents.
Financial Responsibilities
- Monitor rake collection and table revenue.
- Verify chip inventory and cash reconciliations.
- Control operational expenses.
- Prepare revenue and performance reports.
Required Skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5+ years of poker room or casino management experience.
- Experience managing tournaments and cash games.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
