Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Social Science

Job Summary
The TGT Social Science Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in Social Science for Classes IX and X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster critical thinking, historical awareness, geographical understanding, civic responsibility, and analytical skills while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics) as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Assess students through periodic tests, assignments, practical activities, and examinations, providing timely feedback.
- Promote inquiry-based, experiential, and activity-oriented learning.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom teaching.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and assessment documentation.
- Identify and support students with diverse learning needs through appropriate interventions.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations through revision plans, remedial classes, and exam-oriented guidance.
- Organize and participate in co-curricular activities such as quizzes, debates, exhibitions, field visits, and social science clubs.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and other duties assigned by the school administration.
- Adhere to CBSE guidelines and the school's academic policies and code of conduct.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Fresh candidates meeting the qualification criteria may also apply, subject to school policy.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
