Position: Electrical Engineer

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
Purpose of the Role
To ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems, equipment, and utilities within the plant while maintaining safety, quality, and statutory compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of production machinery and utility systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
Plant Operations
- Monitor power consumption and identify opportunities for energy conservation.
- Ensure proper functioning of DG sets, transformers, UPS systems, and utility equipment.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and equipment.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct periodic inspections and safety audits of electrical installations.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance records, electrical drawings, and equipment history.
- Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures during maintenance activities.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring breakdowns.
- Suggest and implement improvement projects for reliability, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant certification in electrical safety will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing, packaging, plastics, film, chemical, or process industries.
- Experience in handling HT/LT systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and industrial electrical equipment.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, circuits, and control systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance documentation.

Compensation
As per company standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹580,000.00 per year
