The Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective science education to students, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a scientific mindset. The role includes planning lessons, conducting practical experiments, and ensuring students understand core scientific concepts.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials
- Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure safe handling of equipment and chemicals
- Assess and evaluate students through tests, assignments, and practicals
- Maintain student records, progress reports, and attendance
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and scientific thinking
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment
- Prepare students for exams, projects, and competitions
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and academic planning
- Collaborate with other teachers and coordinators for interdisciplinary learning
