We are looking for a Printer Technician with 1 year of experience to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair printers and multifunction devices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with printer servicing, hardware troubleshooting, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and service laser, inkjet, and multifunction printers.
- Diagnose and repair printer hardware and software issues.
- Replace and maintain printer components such as fusers, rollers, drums, print heads, and power supplies.
- Troubleshoot paper jams, print quality issues, connectivity problems, and driver-related errors.
- Configure network printers and printer sharing.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Attend on-site customer service calls and resolve issues within the committed timeline.
- Maintain service reports and update work status.
- Coordinate with the support team for spare parts and warranty claims.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, and other printer brands.
- Knowledge of laser, inkjet, and multifunction printer troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of desktop hardware, networking, and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to install printer drivers and configure network printers.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Any Technical Degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Printer Technician or in a similar role.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in field service and AMC support.
- Knowledge of barcode and thermal printers is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for on-site service calls.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
