Role Summary:
Manam Chocolate is looking for an experienced and passionate Sr. Barista who will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, customer service skills, and the ability to maintain café standards.
Key Responsibilities:
v Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Manam Chocolate standards.
v Standardising beverages recipes within the team.
v Inventory management through software.
v Documentation- checklists, calibration reports, inventory reports, breakage reports and any more checklist / report that might be needed.
v Responsible for Periodic team trainings.
v Responsible for Curating Beverages.
v Responsible for Customer interaction.
v Ensure effective communication within the organisation.
v Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of beverages.
v Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment efficiently.
v Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and work area.
v Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner to ensure a premium guest experience.
v Recommend beverages and assist customers with menu selections.
v Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients and report shortages.
v Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
v Coordinate with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations.
v Support in training junior baristas or café staff if required.
Key Skills & Competencies
v Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, latte art, and manual brewing techniques.
v Experience working with professional coffee machines and grinders.
v Excellent customer service and communication skills.
v Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment.
v Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
v Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
Education/ Qualification:
v Diploma/Certification in Hospitality, Barista Training, or Food & Beverage Service preferred.
v Any graduate with relevant café experience may also apply.
Experience:
v Minimum 6+ years of experience in premium cafés, restaurants, or specialty coffee brands.
v Experience in Artisan Coffee or Specialty Café Brands will be an added advantage.
