Role Summary
We are looking for a BIM Engineer / Modeler who can work on mechanical systems like HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. The person will create and manage 3D models and coordinate with different teams to make sure everything fits well in the design.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and update 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Work with architects and engineers to coordinate designs and fix clashes
- Understand drawings and convert them into accurate BIM models
- Prepare shop drawings and other project-related documents
- Improve models to make them more efficient and easier to use
- Check models regularly to maintain quality and accuracy
Requirements
- Basic to strong knowledge of BIM and mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit (MEP)
- Experience in preparing shop drawings
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of clash detection is a plus
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability
