Role: Senior Data Engineer – Business Intelligence

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer – Business Intelligence to design, develop, and optimize scalable Business Intelligence solutions, ETL pipelines, enterprise reporting platforms, and analytics environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, ETL, data modeling, reporting, and performance optimization, along with experience delivering enterprise-grade BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Business Intelligence solutions and ETL workflows.
- Build scalable data integration pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain data models, SQL scripts, stored procedures, dashboards, and enterprise reports.
- Collaborate with business, analytics, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Perform data validation, transformation, and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Troubleshoot complex reporting, data quality, ETL, and integration issues.
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, ETL jobs, and reporting performance.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and recommend best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and operational procedures.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development and data governance standards.
- Mentor junior developers and support Agile delivery processes.
- Drive continuous improvements in reporting quality, analytics performance, and operational efficiency.
✅ Required Skills
✔ 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Enterprise Reporting.
✔ Strong expertise in SQL, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization.
✔ Hands-on experience in ETL Development and Data Integration.
✔ Experience designing and maintaining Data Models and Enterprise Reporting Solutions.
✔ Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms.
✔ Experience with reporting dashboards and data visualization tools.
✔ Expertise in Performance Tuning for SQL queries, ETL pipelines, and reporting systems.
✔ Strong understanding of Data Quality, Validation, and Governance.
✔ Experience working in Cloud and On-Premises Data Environments.
✔ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
✔ Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
➕ Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
➕ Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar BI tools.
➕ Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
➕ Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for Data Engineering.
Pay: ₹509,112.05 - ₹1,868,195.23 per year
