Job Summary
As an International Tour Counselor, you will assist clients in planning and booking international holidays by understanding their travel preferences, recommending suitable destinations, preparing customized itineraries, coordinating bookings, and providing end-to-end travel guidance. You will also educate clients about visa requirements, travel insurance, and forex options to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in planning and booking international holiday packages.
- Understand customers' travel preferences, budgets, and travel requirements.
- Recommend suitable international destinations, hotels, flights, sightseeing, cruises, and transportation options.
- Prepare accurate travel quotations and customized itineraries.
- Handle inquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and walk-in customers.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and international travel partners.
- Guide clients regarding visa requirements, travel insurance, and forex services.
- Confirm bookings and maintain accurate reservation records.
- Follow up with leads and existing customers.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and promptly.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Achieve monthly sales and booking targets.
- Stay updated on international destinations, visa regulations, travel trends, and seasonal offers.
Candidate Requirements
We're looking for candidates who:
- Are freshers or experienced professionals from any educational background.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a customer-first attitude with strong relationship-building skills.
- Have a sales-oriented mindset and enjoy interacting with people.
- Are organized and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Have basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Internet).
- Are eager to learn and build a career in the travel industry.
- Can work independently as well as in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduation in any stream is preferred.
- Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, customer service, or sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of international destinations, visa procedures, GDS systems, or international travel products will be an added advantage.
- Comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.
