Chess Teacher / Chess Coach – Experienced
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chess Teacher to train and mentor students across various age groups and skill levels. The ideal candidate should possess strong chess knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that promotes strategic thinking and concentration among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured and interactive chess training sessions
- Teach chess fundamentals, tactics, openings, middle-game strategies, and endgame techniques
- Train students for interschool, district, state, and national-level competitions
- Assess student performance and provide individual guidance for improvement
- Organize chess activities, practice matches, and competitions
- Encourage analytical thinking, discipline, and sportsmanship among students
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Chess Teacher / Chess Coach
- Strong understanding of chess concepts and tournament gameplay
- Ability to handle beginner to advanced-level learners
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring children
- Chess certifications or tournament achievements will be an added advantage
