Somatheeram Ayurvedic Hospital & Yoga Centre, an internationally acclaimed Ayurveda hospital set in a resort ambiance, is seeking an experienced and guest-oriented F&B Manager to oversee food and beverage operations and ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests. The role involves managing restaurant operations, supervising F&B staff, maintaining service and hygiene standards, coordinating with the kitchen and other departments, monitoring inventory and costs, and ensuring efficient operations while upholding the resort's high standards of hospitality and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve budgeted revenues, prepare monthly forecasts, and monitor and control food, beverage, and labour costs to maximize departmental profitability.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the departmental operating budget while ensuring profitability and adherence to Ayurvedic principles.
- Analyse financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate departmental performance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Recommend or initiate salary, disciplinary, and other staffing-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff, chefs, and supervisors to understand and incorporate Ayurvedic philosophy into their roles.
- Develop and implement departmental training programmes focusing on Ayurveda, nutrition awareness, service excellence, hygiene, and wellness-based hospitality.
- Ensure all staff are adequately trained on quality and service standards and provided with the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service delivery, particularly for requests related to Dosha-based meal plans and doctor-prescribed diets.
- Enforce compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with Ayurvedic principles and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Implement appropriate upselling techniques that complement guests’ health goals and overall wellness journey.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure consistency, personalization, efficiency, and excellence.
- Ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen, service team, and Ayurveda doctors for customized meal planning.
- Collaborate with Ayurvedic doctors and chefs on ingredient sourcing and menu planning to support seasonal requirements and Dosha-specific dietary balance.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
