Job Responsibilities –
1. Material Management & Inventory Control
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain proper storage conditions to avoid damage, wastage, or theft.
Regularly update inventory records in software/manual registers.
Ensure timely issuance of materials to site as per project requirements.
2. Stock Monitoring & Reporting
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock verification.
Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for critical materials.
Prepare stock reconciliation reports for accounts and management.
Highlight discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock immediately.
3. Coordination with Project & Purchase Teams
Coordinate with project/site engineers for material requirements.
Work closely with the purchase department for timely procurement.
Ensure material availability without affecting site progress.
Provide usage/consumption reports for cost control.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), and other records.
Ensure all materials are received against proper Purchase Orders and invoices.
Maintain records for audits, billing, and client verification.
Comply with company policies, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
5. Safety & Housekeeping
Ensure safe storage and handling of hazardous or delicate materials.
Maintain cleanliness and systematic arrangement of the store.
Implement proper labeling, identification, and stacking of items.
6. Team Management
Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and support staff.
Allocate work, train, and monitor team performance.
Enforce discipline, accountability, and efficiency within the team.
7. Logistics & Dispatch
Arrange timely dispatch of materials to multiple project sites.
Monitor transport, unloading, and confirmation of delivered items.
Track returnable items such as tools, shuttering materials, and equipment.
8. Cost & Waste Control
Minimize pilferage, misuse, or excess material consumption.
Track scrap, wastage, and returnable/reusable materials.
Suggest alternatives or cost-saving measures wherever possible.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
