Finance & Accounts
Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting
· Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain books of accounts.
· Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
· Review journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
· Prepare financial statements including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
2. Banking & Treasury Management
· Manage banking relationships and coordinate with banks for credit facilities, loans, stock statements and working capital.
· Prepare cash flow forecasts and fund flow statements.
· Handle bank reconciliations and oversee payment processing.
· Ensure optimal utilization of banking facilities and maintain compliance with loan covenants.
3. GST Compliance
· Ensure timely filing of GST returns.
· Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records.
· Coordinate GST assessments, audits, and departmental notices.
4. TDS & Direct Tax Compliance
· Ensure accurate deduction and timely deposit of TDS.
· File quarterly TDS returns and issue TDS certificates.
· Handle lower deduction certificates and tax notices.
5. Budgeting & Financial Planning
· Prepare annual budgets in coordination with department heads.
· Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis.
· Forecast revenues, expenses, and capital expenditure.
6. MIS Reporting
· Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports.
· Present financial performance reports to senior management.
· Analyze trends and recommend corrective actions.
7. Statutory Audit & Internal Audit
· Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors.
· Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
· Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
· Implement recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
9. Compliance & Internal Controls
· Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, Income-tax Act, and other applicable laws.
· Establish and monitor financial controls and accounting policies.
10. Team Management
· Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
· Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
· Identify training needs and support employee development.
Required Qualifications
· Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com.
· Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com.) is essential.
Technical Skills
· Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and financial reporting.
· Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
· Experience with Tally ERP systems.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups, Dashboards, Power Pivot).
· Knowledge of financial modelling and budgeting techniques.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
