About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Playwright Testing Trainer to join our training team in Velachery, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright automation testing and modern software testing practices. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical, industry-focused training to students, fresh graduates, and working professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and online training sessions on Playwright Automation Testing.
- Teach core software testing concepts, including:
- Manual Testing Fundamentals
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Test Planning and Test Case Design
- Defect Tracking and Bug Reporting
- Train students on:
- Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Browser Automation
- End-to-End (E2E) Testing
- UI and Functional Testing
- API Testing Basics
- Cross-Browser Testing
- Test Execution and Reporting
- Playwright Test Framework
- Assertions and Locators
- Parallel Test Execution
- Provide hands-on training with real-time automation projects.
- Create training materials, assignments, assessments, and project documentation.
- Guide students in automation framework development and best practices.
- Support students in interview preparation, resume building, and placement activities.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and automation technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Good understanding of Manual Testing and Automation Testing concepts.
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or other automation tools is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of API Testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as a Software Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or Automation Test Engineer.
- Prior teaching or technical training experience preferred.
- Certifications in Software Testing, Playwright, QA, or Automation Testing are a plus.
