Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific business needs. This role requires acting as the main liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are clearly understood and delivered effectively. The position demands coordinating efforts across different teams, managing timelines, and overseeing the implementation process to guarantee that the final product aligns with organizational goals and client expectations. Continuous communication and problem-solving are integral parts of the daily routine to maintain project momentum and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- SAP S/4 version upgrade, exposure to simplification list assessment, SAP readiness check, remediation, and functional testing. experience in S/4 upgrade is must skill.
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of project activities to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business requirements.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance and skill development.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Strong expertise in production planning processes and discrete manufacturing environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP modules to optimize production workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to production planning and control systems.
