Role Purpose
The Site HR is the HR Business Partner for the assigned warehouse and is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted manpower availability, statutory compliance, employee engagement, performance discipline, and smooth HR operations. The role works closely with Warehouse Operations to improve productivity, reduce attrition, maintain compliance, and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manpower Planning & Recruitment (20%)
-
Ensure timely manpower availability as per approved manpower planning.

Coordinate with manpower vendors and recruitment partners for fulfilment.
-
Source and hire on-roll employees for warehouse operations.
-
Monitor recruitment TAT and ageing of open positions.
-
Conduct joining formalities and induction for all new hires.
-
Ensure 100% completion of employee documentation and background verification.

Attendance, Payroll & HR Operations (15%)
-
Ensure daily attendance reconciliation through biometric systems.
-
Validate attendance, overtime, shift schedules, and leave records.
-
Submit accurate payroll inputs within defined timelines.
-
Resolve payroll-related employee concerns.
-
Maintain employee files and HRIS records with complete accuracy.
-
Process confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.

Employee Relations & Engagement (15%)
-
Conduct regular employee connect sessions and floor walks.
-
Address employee grievances within defined timelines.
-
Drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and welfare activities.
-
Support retention initiatives to reduce voluntary attrition.
-
Promote a positive work culture aligned with Emiza’s values.

Performance & Productivity Support (10%)
-
Coordinate probation reviews and performance discussions.
-
Work with Operations to identify absenteeism and productivity concerns.
-
Monitor disciplinary cases and recommend corrective actions.
-
Support implementation of performance improvement plans where required.
-
Contract Labour & Vendor Management (15%)
-
Coordinate with manpower agencies to ensure uninterrupted workforce availability.
-
Verify contractor attendance and monthly invoices.
-
Ensure contractor compliance with statutory requirements.
-
Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.
-
Escalate non-compliance by contractors immediately.

Statutory & Labour Law Compliance (15%)
-
Ensure compliance with the Contract Labour Act, Shops & Establishments Act, Minimum Wages Act, EPF, ESIC, Bonus Act, Payment of Wages Act, and other applicable labour laws.

Maintain statutory registers and documentation.
-
Support internal, client, and statutory audits.
-
Ensure 100% compliance with labour law requirements.

Training & Communication (5%)
-
Conduct HR induction for all new employees.
-
Coordinate Code of Conduct, POSH, Whistleblower Policy, and safety training.
-
Support warehouse training initiatives.
-
Maintain training records and completion reports.
-
HR MIS & Reporting (5%)
-
Publish daily and monthly HR dashboards.
-
Track manpower, absenteeism, attrition, hiring status, and compliance metrics.
-
Share reports with HR and Operations leadership.
-
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all HR reports.
Educational Qualification
-
Graduate/ Postgraduate in Human Resources / MSW / MHRM.
Experience
-
2–5 years of experience in Warehouse HR, Logistics, 3PL, Manufacturing, Retail, or E-commerce.
-
Experience in managing large blue-collar workforces (100–500+ associates).
-
Exposure to contract labour management is mandatory.
