Dispatch Executive – Job Description

Position Summary
The Dispatch Executive will be responsible for coordinating dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of gas cylinders and products, maintaining dispatch documentation, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch schedules as per customer orders and delivery commitments.
- Prepare dispatch documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, transporter documents, and gate passes.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, sales, and logistics teams for order fulfillment.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Track dispatched consignments and provide delivery status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, cylinder tracking, dispatch registers, and transporter performance.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, transportation regulations, and hazardous material handling requirements.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues such as delivery delays, shortages, damages, or documentation discrepancies.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics vendors for vehicle availability and route planning.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports for management review.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, industrial gases, or related industries preferred.
- Knowledge of GST documentation, e-way bills, and inventory management processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
