Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and performance standards. This role includes meticulously documenting the deployment of security controls within cloud environments and overseeing the seamless transition of these controls into managed cloud security operations. The position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that the security architecture remains robust, scalable, and adaptable to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into cloud infrastructure effectively.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance security frameworks to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the development of best practices and guidelines for cloud security implementation.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on security architecture principles.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and architecture design.
- Experience with implementing and managing cloud security controls and policies.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards related to cloud security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
