About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Design Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring designers to gain hands-on experience working on real-world web and mobile applications as well as website design while learning modern design processes and tools.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating intuitive user experiences, visually appealing interfaces, and user-centered digital products.
Key ResponsibilitiesUX Design
- Conduct user research and competitor analysis.
- Create user personas, user journeys, and customer flows.
- Develop wireframes, low-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
- Identify usability issues and recommend improvements.
- Participate in user testing and gather feedback.
UI Design
- Design responsive website and mobile application interfaces.
- Create high-fidelity screens using modern design principles.
- Maintain consistency across products using design systems.
- Design icons, illustrations, banners, and other visual assets when required.
- Ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines.
Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Present design concepts and explain design decisions.
- Collaborate during product planning and feature development.
- Assist in maintaining and improving the company's design library.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.
- Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Familiarity with responsive web design concepts.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects (academic, personal, or freelance).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries is an advantage.
- Interest in AI-powered design tools and modern design workflows.
