Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting software, GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payment entries.
- Prepare and maintain cash books, ledgers, and bank reconciliation statements.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Generate invoices and follow up on customer payments.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and return filing.
- Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain vendor and customer account records.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support management with budgeting, MIS reports, and financial analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (Freshers with good knowledge can also apply).
- Knowledge of Tally Prime, Busy, or similar accounting software.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong ethical standards.
