Job Title: Production Assistant cum Operator
Qualification: Diploma or ITI in a technical field, or any relevant bachelor’s degree
Experience: 2-4 years
Location: Kochi
Responsible for supporting production operations by operating machinery, assisting supervisors, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining compliance with food safety and operational procedures. Works in a manufacturing unit, operating machines and assisting in overall production activities to ensure a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:
· Operate and monitor machines to ensure smooth production processes and proper equipment functioning.
· Assist in supervising production activities by supporting team coordination, task allocation, and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
· Ensure adherence to GMP, BRC, food safety, and health & safety standards always.
· Monitor production parameters such as quality, efficiency, and yield, and report or address issues promptly.
· Perform start-up, in-process, cleaning, and changeover inspections, including CCP verification, and maintain accurate records in SAP and reports.
· Handle product identification, labelling, and segregation of non-conforming products as per procedures.
· Support production planning by coordinating schedules, managing stock flow, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
