Job description
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Architect (Building Design) to join our team in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, Kollam, Kerala.
The role demands a professional with a strong sense of design, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into functional, sustainable, and aesthetically appealing structures.
The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing architectural projects from inception to completion.
This includes developing comprehensive design solutions, preparing detailed architectural drawings, and integrating multiple building systems to create cohesive and efficient designs
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design process for building projects, ensuring architectural excellence and innovation.
Prepare conceptual sketches, detailed drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials.
Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to determine project constraints and opportunities.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to ensure seamless integration of all building components.
Review and finalize design documentation in compliance with local building codes, safety norms, and engineering standards.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the design and construction phases.
Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance to ensure design integrity during execution.
Stay abreast of emerging materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
