Responsibilities of an English Teacher
- Teaching Language Skills
- Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Develop students’ grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension abilities.
- Lesson Planning
- Prepare lesson plans according to the curriculum and learning objectives.
- Use creative and interactive teaching methods to engage students.
- Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and confidence in communication.
- Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct tests, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Developing Reading & Writing Skills
- Guide students in essay writing, creative writing, and comprehension exercises.
- Promote reading habits through stories, literature, and activities.
- Use of Teaching Aids
- Incorporate technology, audio-visual materials, and educational resources in teaching.
- Student Support
- Identify students’ learning difficulties and provide extra support when needed.
- Motivate students to improve communication skills.
- Curriculum Implementation
- Follow school syllabus and academic guidelines.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Communication with Parents
- Discuss students’ progress during PTMs and through regular communication.
- School Responsibilities
- Participate in school events, examinations, and co-curricular activities.
- Maintain records such as attendance, marks, and reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
