Job Summary
The QMS Executive is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the Quality Management System across all units. The role ensures compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and company policies. The executive will coordinate audits, documentation control, CAPA management, training, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities1. QMS Implementation & Compliance
- Ensure effective implementation of QMS and compliance with applicable certifications such as IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), BRCGS, FSC, SMETA-SEDEX, ISO 22000, BIS, Greenco, FSSAI, etc.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Monitor implementation of SOPs, manuals, procedures, and policies across departments.
2. Documentation & Record Control
- Maintain and update QMS documents including SOPs, manuals, formats, and records.
- Ensure proper document control, version control, approvals, and accessibility.
- Maintain records in an organized and audit-ready condition.
3. Internal Audit Management
- Plan and conduct internal audits as per approved schedules.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and observations.
- Identify improvement opportunities through audit analysis.
4. CAPA Management
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-conformities.
- Ensure timely implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Verify effectiveness of implemented CAPA.
5. Customer Complaint Handling
- Monitor and analyze customer complaints and quality issues.
- Coordinate with departments for timely resolution.
- Implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
6. Training & Awareness
- Conduct QMS and compliance-related training programs.
- Ensure employee awareness regarding quality standards and procedures.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
7. Process Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor quality KPIs such as rejection rate, rework, customer complaints, and audit compliance.
- Support Kaizen, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
8. Supplier Quality Management
- Support supplier evaluation and approval activities.
- Monitor supplier performance and incoming material quality.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality requirements.
9. Risk Management
- Identify process risks and opportunities.
- Maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Conduct periodic risk reviews.
10. Management Review & Reporting
- Prepare reports and data for Management Review Meetings (MRM).
- Present quality performance metrics and analysis.
- Support management decision-making with quality data.
11. Regulatory & Certification Audits
- Coordinate external audits for ISO, BRCGS, FSC, SMETA, FSSAI, and other certifications.
- Ensure plant readiness for audits at all times.
- Coordinate with auditors and departments for successful audit completion.
12. GMP, Hygiene & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene, housekeeping, and safety requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and compliance checks.
- Coordinate with EHS and production teams for corrective actions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Certification in ISO/BRCGS/Internal Auditor will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in QMS, QA, or compliance functions.
- Experience in packaging, printing, food packaging, or manufacturing industry preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of ISO standards, BRCGS, FSC, FSSAI, and audit systems.
- Good documentation and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
