Job Title: Mechanical Package Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Package Engineer to join our team on a 1-year contractual basis. The role involves handling and reviewing mechanical equipment packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications, vendor requirements, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and manage mechanical packages such as skids, compressors, heaters etc.
- Evaluate vendor offers, technical bids, and ensure alignment with project specifications
- Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, and requisitions
- Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications, documentation, and deliverables
- Review vendor drawings and documents for compliance and quality
- Ensure proper interface coordination with piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams
- Monitor package progress and ensure timely delivery as per project schedule
- Support inspection, testing, and commissioning activities when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 6–8 years of experience in handling mechanical packages in EPC/projects
- Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)
- Experience in vendor management and technical bid evaluation
- Good understanding of engineering documentation and project execution
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Process industries
- Exposure to international projects and client standards
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Contract Details:
- Duration: 1 Year (extendable based on project requirements)
- Location: Pune (Work from Office / Site as per project needs)
