Looking for someone who has been working in the textile industry for atleast 5 years as a Floor Manager.
The manager will be in charge of the Running Material/Dress Materials floor of the showroom. Experience in Running Materials/Dress Materials is mandatory for this post. Please do not appy if you do not have experience in Running/Dress Materials
Floor Operations & Sales
- Manage day-to-day operations of the running materials / dress fabrics floor
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for the department
- Oversee fabric cutting, measurement, billing coordination, and packaging quality
- Maintain a clean, well-organised, and visually appealing floor at all times
- Manage floor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the warehouse team
▪ Customer Engagement
- Guide customers in selecting fabrics suited to their intended garment and occasion
- Advise on fabric properties — drape, weight, breathability, wash care, and durability
- Recommend appropriate fabric combinations for blouses, linings, borders, and trimmings
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally and promptly
- Build lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat visits and loyalty
▪ Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of floor sales staff and assistants
- Conduct regular training on fabric knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service
- Assign duties, manage attendance, and ensure adequate floor coverage at all times
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback
